Residential Treatment

Residential treatment programs are a longer-term treatment program (approximately six months) for children and adolescents with long-standing behavioral health problems. Separate programs are available for children (ages 8-12) and adolescents (ages 13-17). The programs offer physician-led, multidisciplinary treatment that addresses the overall medical, psychiatric, social and academic needs of the child. Residential treatment center programs offer a balance of therapies and activities in a safe, structured setting.

  • Includes school program
  • Addresses long-standing problems that require more time to resolve
  • 24-hour staff supervision
  • Visits with a psychiatrist
  • Therapies include individual therapy, family therapy, group psychotherapy, expressive therapy, recreation therapy, art therapy and pet therapy
