Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)

Therapeutic experience primarily in a licensed therapist group setting scheduled three times per week for three hours per session. IOP programs have shown to reduce inpatient admissions and readmission. People appropriate for IOP at Bloomington Meadows have a psychiatric diagnosis such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder. There is also a track specifically for patients who have both a psychiatric diagnosis and have a history of substance use/misuse.

Programs are available for adults, adolescents and children 10 years old and over. Different group scheduling options are available and include virtual (telehealth), in person and hybrid options.
